Santa Monica Pier / Muscle Beach

We were totally impressed by how well kept Muscle Beach is these days.  And the pier. 

Not so much when Bradley and I lived in Venice all those years ago.  Must have undergone a renovation at some point. 

Hot Dog on a Stick is still there...which is so weird and strange to me.  Started eating there in 1978.

The carousel is beautiful.  They don't have the brass ring thingie anymore though :(
