Sometimes, some of us adoptive moms get together w/the kids for a playdate. I love these gatherings for a few reasons. First and foremost....we have fun together (the grown-ups do.) Also, the kids have fun together. I really love that adoption is so "normal" in our circle.
Out of the 13 kids in the photos can you tell which 3 are bio?
For a time...Zion was the sole bio kid. She was so sad to have been not adopted. I love that her sisters had to comfort her in the car on the ride home from the park...explaining tenderly to her wounded heart that she was just as special as they were and that the Lord had a plan for her life that just happened to not include adoption.

Zion and Maddy are the only two bio kids I know in that picture. Was there a prize for 2 out of 3?

Cate: I thought the same thing. Poor kid doesn't stand a chance w/the out to lunch women he's surrounded by.
If you look really close behind Dawns head you will see the other twin. hahahaha
