Wow! What a fun evening. We are stuffed to overflowing with Swedish meatballs, beets, boiled potatoes, krumkakes, various rice pudding recipes, red jello....the list goes on....and...on....and on. Four loooooooooong buffet tables later and suffice it to say....we are well fed and quite content over here.
We were treated to the CHRISTmas story told in Norwegian (daughter) and English (father.)
A song and story about Saint Lucia.
A visit from "Queen Christina" of Sweden and A "Colonel of the 1st Minnesota Infantry of the Union Army of the Civil War" (made up of mostly Norwegians...who knew?????) Visit http://www.wemakehistory.com
And the lovely sounds of the MacIntyre Family Choir.
