1.5 miles....much of it uphill. Zion did great. She never had to be carried once....a first for her! And we all broke a sweat even though it was only 50 degrees. We had so much fun and the views are incredible!
Why do I take opportunites like this...spectacular scenary in my own backyard...fresh air...family together time...healthy living.... for granted?
I'm thinking about making this hike a weekly thing. Anybody interested?

This weekend??
We love to hike as a family too! We just took Bruce's sister's family up Sunrise Trail and had such a great time! We would love to join you, just on a weekend when my hubby can carry the babe on his back...don't think I would make it with him!
YEA!!! my family and i go hiking a lot!! we were going to make a weekly thing too, but life got in the way....hehe.... we like to try to make one hike at least every other Sunday or Saturday though. so the next time you go hiking let us know because i'm sure my family would LOVE to join you!!! (im not too big of a hiker but if im with my friends im sure it'll be different.)
