"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
I must say I am a bit confused. Pondering the choice to end tonight's show with a worship song. Pondering the choice to remove the name of Jesus. Could it be kinda like those who witness to Jews using...... Yeshua or Messiah as to not alienate right out of the gate? Maybe there is a believing producer w/power to call the shots deciding these things? Or is it down right heathen idolatry and the enemy at work with his subtle trickeries? Manipulating...trying to get Christians all excited and donating out of emotion. Distracted by and settling for a counterfeit. There is much good in the world...but at the end of the day, we want to be after His best. What's left over will eventually burn up as rubble and hay.
There's no doubt in my mind though....deep down.... those singing the song...and....those watching across the globe know the "Shepherd" being referred to is the Biblical Jesus....not Ghandi, not Buddha, not Allah, not the Pope, not Joseph Smith, not Krishna, not Mariann Williamson, not L. Ron Hubbard, not Ellen G. White, not Deepak Chopra, not Oprah. And that one day....every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that JESUS is Lord.
Put it together with Dolly's performance last week along with the Clark Brothers..... and at the very least we've got some pretty interesting American Idol discussions that may open doors with our unbelieving neighbors. The Lord has been boldly praised on the show. I'm just not sure what tonight was.

Wow! I didn't watch the end tonight and on one side, it's amazing they would sing that song, and yet, wow...how sad. The enemy is so crafty and cunning...NEVER forget that. I am reminded daily!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
LOVE YOU!

Are you talking about last night? We hd to go to bed early so I didn't watch the end. Last night was Idol Gives Back.
Yes. The show ended with the contestants singing, "Shout to the Lord." You can watch the video on my blog.
